Studie představuje tvorbu Jana Klimenta - novináře, jehož kariéra dosáhla vrcholu během tzv. normalizace - a to v souvislosti se širším společenským, kulturním a politickým kontextem doby. Vzorek jeho článků s filmovou tematikou, uveřejněných na stránkách deníku Rudé právo v rozmezí let 1971-1973, ilustruje dobou poznamenaný přístup k prezentaci a hodnocení domácí i světové kinematografie. Práce se pokouší o shrnutí a popis stěžejních rysů reflexe filmového umění pod přímým ideologickým vlivem komunistické strany v období československé normalizace, konkrétně na počátku sedmdesátých let. Text obsahuje krom prezentace výše definovaných článků také stručný exkurz do historie levicové československé filmové kritiky, obecnou charakteristiku československého mediálního prostředí přelomu šedesátých a sedmdesátých let dvacátého století a informace o profesním vývoji Jana Klimenta, včetně nastínění tematického rozptylu jeho publicistické činnosti. This study is based on reviewing Jan Kliment's journalism in the context of wide social, cultural and political conditions of the so-called Normalization in Czechoslovakia. Jan Kliment was an exponent of the communist regime journalism, specialized on cultural events. The sample of his articles published in the Rude Pravo newspapers between years 1971 and 1973 illustrates the time-influenced (or biased) approach to reviewing both Czechoslovakian and foreign motion pictures. The study is trying to summarize and to describe the film criticism lineament under the ideological power of the Communist Party in the times of Normalization, actually in the beginning seventies. The text includes (apart from the presentation of Kliment's movie pictures reviews) a brief introduction to the history of the Czechoslovakian leftist film criticism, general facts about the Czechoslovakian media landscape in the era of the so-called Prague Spring and the subsequent Normalization and information about Kliment's career.
