Title of the Bachelor Thesis: The creation of A.Averchenko in emigration Abstract The graduate work «The creation of A.Averchenko in emigration» is dedicated to the research of the creative work of an outstanding writer of the XX century beginning, who is a well-known classic of Russian satiric and humorous prose. The aim of research is the analysis of Averchenko's literary activity during the giant revolutionary turn in Russian history, the changes in his sense of humour in the emigration and the influence of the new society on the writer's creation in his Czech period of life. The object of analysis in this work, as well, is the single Averchenko's humorous novel «The Joke of the Maecenas», written in the emigration. Key words: «Satyricon», «New Satyricon», «King of laugh», satirical prose, revolution, emigration, humorous novel, Prague, Russians in foreign countries Název: Tvorba Arkadije Averčenka v emigraci Abstrakt Bakalářská práce na téma «Tvorba Arkadije Averčenka v emigraci» je věnována studiu tvorby významného spisovatele první třetiny XX. století, uznávaného klasika ruské satirické a humoristické prózy. Cílem této studie je analýza literární činnosti Averčenka, v kontextu rozsáhlého revolučního zlomu v historii Ruska, změn v povaze humoru spisovatele v exilu a vlivu nového prostředí na tvorbu satirika během jeho života v Československu. Předmětem analýzy v této práci je také jediný humoristický román Arkadije Averčenka "Žert mecenášův", který byl napsán v exilu.
