Vodopády v topografických databázích a digitální kartografii Abstrakt Cílem této práce je seznámit uživatele se základními typy vodopádů a možností zlepšení informací o nich, zvláště pak vylepšení databáze ZABAGED a reprezentace Základní mapy 1 : 10 000. Dílčím cílem je popsání vodopádů ve světovém měřítku a jejich reprezentace v zahraničních databázích a mapách a možnost aplikace těchto zjištění na Českou republiku. Dále bude představen návrh pro automatizovanou tvorbu kartografické reprezentace vodopádů pro topografické mapy středních měřítek, speciálně pro Základní mapu 1 : 10 000. Jako doplněk poslouží názorné ukázky reprezentace vodopádů ze zahraničních i českých zdrojů. The sectional purpose is to describe the waterfalls worldwide and their representation in foreign databases and maps, and a possibility to apply these findings for the Czech Republic. There will be presented a draft for automated creation of a cartographic presentation of the waterfalls and rapids for medium scale topographic maps, especially for The base map 1 : 10 000.
