P edm tem této bakalá ské práce je p edstavení románu Sestry Materassiovy, italského spisovatele Alda Palazzeschiho, v n mž se autor pozoruhodným zp sobem v noval otázce morálky italské m š ácké spole nosti v období po átku 20. století. Práce úvodem provází životní dráhou autora v historickém a um leckém kontextu, stru n popisuje a charakterizuje celou jeho um leckou tvorbu a zp sob myšlení a nazírání na sv t, v n mž se autor pohyboval a p sobil. Obsahem práce je rovn ž na rtnutí tendencí avantgardního sm ru futurismu, k n muž byl autor v ur ité dob své um lecké tvorby p izván a p ipojil se k jeho myšlenkám. Druhá ást práce je v nována období experimentálních román autora, které p edcházely vydání románu Sestry Materassiovy. St žejní ást práce je v nována rozboru Palazzeschiho románu Sestry Materassiovy, který p edstavuje vrchol jeho literární a um lecké tvorby. The subject of this thesis is a presentation of a work of art, The Materassi Sisters novel, written by an Italian writer, Aldo Palazzeschi, in which the author focused, in a remarkable way, to the class structure of Italian bourgeois society during the beginning of the 20th century. The introduction of this work guides through the life's career of the author in the historical and artistic context, briefly describes and characterizes his entire artistic production, and the way of thinking and seeing the world, in which the author moved and worked. This work contains also an outline of the trends of the futurism artistic direction, to which the author was invited at one time of his artistic creation and the ideas of which he joined. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the period of experimental novels of the author, that preceded The Materassi Sisters novel. The main part is devoted to the analysis of the Palazzeschi's novel, The Materassi Sisters, which represents the peak of his literary and artistic creation.
