Bakalářská práce "Mediální ohlas na májový pobyt Allena Ginsberga v Praze 1965" se zabývá analýzou článků československých i zahraničních periodik reagujících na kuriózní pražskou návštěvu amerického beatnika v roce 1965. Autor práce nejprve utváří biografický a literární kontext slavného básníka a stručně představuje hlavní protagonisty beat generation. Hlavní část práce pak tvoří zpracování mediálního ohlasu a autentické návštěvy Allena Ginsberga. Autor kvalitativně přistupuje k zachycení událostí očima pamětníků, historiků, ale i kontrastně k tomu pohledu agentů StB, kteří Ginsberga sledovali a sepsali závěrečnou zprávu o pobytu básníka na československé půdě. Rešeršní metodou autor práce pátral po tematických článcích v československém oficiálním, exilovém, ale i zahraničním tisku. Analýza vyhledaného materiálu přináší zajímavé rozdíly mezi cenzurovanými a svobodnými periodiky. Kromě mediálního ohlasu práce zachycuje také dopady Ginsbergovy návštěvy na kulturu československé společnosti a utvářející se beatnické autory. Bachelor thesis "Media reception of Allen Ginsberg may's visit in Prague 1965" analyzes articles of the Czechoslovak and foreign periodicals, which react to the American beatnik's curious visit in Prague 1965. Author of the thesis first creates the biographical and literature context of the famous poet and briefly presents main protagonists of the "beat generation". The main part of a thesis consists of processing media reception and authentic visit of Allen Ginsberg. Author qualitative describes events from perspectives of witnesses, historians, also as contrasting perspective of StB agents, who wrote a final report of poet's visit in the Czechoslovakia. By the search retrieval, author searches thematic articles in the Czechoslovak official, exile, and foreign press. Analysis of examined material brings interesting differences between censored and unattached periodicals. Furthermore the thesis describes the effects of Ginsberg's visit to Czechoslovak culture, society and beat generation authors.
