V první části práce se zabývám historií sociální politiky a potřebnými pojmy. Nejdůležitější kapitolou jsou však nároky na dávky státní sociální podpory v České republice v minulosti a v současnosti. V praktické části se věnuji nárokům a problematice vyplácení rodinných dávek ve vybraných státech Evropské unie. Pro svou diplomovou práci jsem využila popisné metody a mým cílem je přehledně zmapovat dávky státní sociální podpory v České republice a v zahraničí. In the first part there are history of social policy and definitions of important terms. Most important chapter is demands on state social support of the Czech Republic in past and in present. In practical part are demands and problems of refunding financial support for families in chosen states of European Union. For my work I used describing methods and my target is clear survey of state social support in Czech Republic and in foreign countries.
