Tato práce pojednává o svatojánských památkách, která vnikly v Praze v 17. a 18. století. První kapitola je věnovaná literatuře jež byla napsána o sv. Janu Nepomuckém. Další kapitola vypráví o životě, působení a mučednické smrti tohoto světce. V dalším díle této práce se věnuji tzv. "druhému životu sv. Jana Nepomuckého", jedná se o úctu před blahořečením až do svatořečení v roce 1729. Snažil jsem se také popsat ráz barokních slavností spojených s tímto aktem. V následující kapitole jsem se zabýval místy, která jsou spojována se sv. Janem Nepomuckým v barokní Praze. Další díl pak vypráví o obrazech, sochách a freskách v pražských chrámech a na veřejných prostranstvích. Z nepomucenských památek jsem věnoval zvláštní pozornost náhrobku sv. Jana Nepomuckého v katedrále sv. Víta a světcově soše na Karlově mostě. Historickou Prahu jsem omezil na Pražský hrad, Hradčany, Malou Stranu, Staré a Nové Město a Vyšehrad. Věnoval jsem se také svatojánské ikonografii a v závěru významu kultu sv. Jana Nepomuckého. Myslím, že tato práce zaznamenala velkou část svatojánských pokladů pražských kostelů, kaplí, ulic a náměstí. Nebylo však možné se věnovat artefaktům s motivem sv. Jana Nepomuckého v pražských muzeích a soukromých sbírkách, které jsou zajisté velmi bohaté a zajímavé. This work deals with the Midsummer menuments, which originated in Prague in the 17th and 18th century. The first chapter is devoted to the that was written by St. John of Nepomuk. Another chapter tells of the life, work and martydom of this saint. In another work, which has been called "second life" of St. John of Nepomuk, it is the awe before the beatification to canonisation in 1729. I tried to describe the character of baroque festivities associated with this instriment. In the next chapter idealt with places that are associated with St. John of Nepomuk in the Baroque Prague. Another part tells about the paintings, sculptures and frascoes in Prague cgurches and public spaces. From Nepomuk's sights i paid special attention to the tomb of St. John of Nepomuk in St. Vitus Cathedral and saint statue on Charles Bridge. I have limited historical Prague at the Prague Casle, Hradčany, Lasser Town, Old and New Town and Vyšehrad. I also devoted Midsummer iconography and cult of St. John of Nepomuk conslusion significance. I think that this work has seen a large part of the Midsummer treasures of Prague churches, chapels, streets, and squares. It was not possible to give a motive St. artifacts. John of Nepomuk in Prague's museum and private collections, which are certainly very rich and interesting.
