cze Abstract:
This master's thesis is concerned with the relationship between man and his physical space in a phenomenological perspective. While the theoretical part employs such notions as "belonging" and "orientation" in oder to define the basis for studying this relation through mental maps, the second part of the thesis focuses on analysing particular mental maps as derived from the space perception of people living in two different terraines, in particular Kohan village in India, and Lhota village in the Czech Republic.
