(česky) Tato bakalářská práce se snaží ozřejmit vývoj zahraničních politiky Spojených států amerických vůči Svazu sovětských socialistických republik v období první administrativy prezidenta Harry S. Trumana. Časový úsek je vymezen jeho nástupem do úřadu a berlínskou blokádou. Práce si všímá především amerického ministerstva zahraničí a tvůrců jeho strategie. Důraz je kladen i na samotného prezidenta a jeho dalších spolupracovníků. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První pracuje s funkčním obdobím ministra zahraničí Jamese F. Byrnese a druhá s jeho nástupcem Georgem C. Marshallem. V závěru je shrnutí poznatků, které na základě výzkumu vývoje zahraniční politiky Spojených států z toho vyplývají. (in English): This bachelor thesis is dealing with the development of the United States of America foreign policy towards the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics in the era of president Truman's first administration. The period of time covered here is marked by the era between Truman's accession to his office and the blocade of Berlin. Primarily, the thesis concentrates on the United States Department of State and the creators of its strategy. An emphasis is also given to the president and his collaborators. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first one works with the term of office of the secretary of state James F. Byrnes. The second one works with is successor Georg C. Marshall. The final part resumes the data arising from the research of creation the foreign policy of the United States.
