Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá temporální předložky v češtině z hlediska kognitivní a konstrukční lingvistiky. Cílem je ukázat, jak pomocí předložek konceptualizujeme čas, důraz je kladen na čas konceptualizovaný jako prostor. Úvod práce podává stručný přehled základní terminologie. Následuje část teoretická, která má tři oddíly. První se věnuje charakteristice českých předložek, druhá představuje kognitivní přístupy k analýze anglických prostorových předložek a ve třetí je ukázán způsob analýzy anglických temporálních výrazů v konstrukční gramatice. Praktická část se zabývá nejprve popisem tabulky, která obsahuje analyzované předložky a jejich veškeré příkladové věty. Pozornost je věnována jednotlivým zkoumaným rysům, jejich důležitosti v rámci tabulky a prostředkům, jimiž jsem dospěla ke konečné podobě tabulky. Následuje samotná charakteristika jednotlivých předložek a zaznamenání jejich významů do konstrukcí. Posledním bodem praktické části je výsledek analýzy. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty výsledky jednotlivých analýz, tj. jak analýzy jednotlivých konkrétních dokladů předložek, tak charakteristiky předložek a jejich významů zasazených do prostorové mentální mapy. Zároveň se zde poukazuje na možné rozpracování tohoto zkoumání. The present thesis deals with temporal prepositions in Czech from a cognitive and constructional grammar perspective. It aims at demonstrating how one conceptualises time, the emphasis being put on time conceptualised as space. The introduction of the thesis presents a brief summary of the terminology. It is followed by the theoretical part, which has three sections. The first one engages in the characteristics of Czech prepositions; the second one presents cognitive approaches to the analysis of English temporal prepositions; and the third one discusses the methods of analysing English temporal expressions within the framework of constructional grammar. The practical part deals first with a table, in which we analyse all the sample sentences of the prepositions we focus on. Attention is paid to the individual features examined and their relevance in the table. We also discuss the methodology used to form the final version of the table. This is followed by the characteristics of the individual prepositions itself and by recording their meanings into constructions. The last section of the practical part presents the results of the analysis.
