5 Abstrakt Dlouhodobě působící kurzy a terénní programy mohou mít pozitivní vliv na znalosti, postoje a chování žáků. Vliv kratších kurzů (1-5 dní) je však sporný, ačkoliv právě tyto kurzy mají z praktického hlediska nezastupitelný význam. Výzkum efektivity krátkodobě trvajících terénních kurzů, z hlediska krátkodobého i dlouhodobého účinku na žáky, však obdržel doposud jen málo pozornosti, zvláště pak u žáků gymnázia. Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce bylo porovnat krátkodobou i dlouhodobou efektivitu výuky v terénu (na exkurzi) s klasickou výukou ve škole a to na příkladu tematického celku ekosystémy. Konkrétně jsem chtěla zjistit, zda se liší výsledky žáků (1) v jednotlivých testech mezi experimentální a kontrolní skupinou, (2) mezi jednotlivými testy napsanými s různým časovým odstupem, (3) v závislosti na dalších charakteristikách žáků. Experimentu se zúčastnilo celkem 102 žáků ze tří gymnázií. Na každé škole byla vždy jedna třída experimentální, která byla vyučována v terénu, a jedna třída kontrolní, která byla téže látce vyučována klasicky ve škole. Žáci vyučovaní v terénu pracovali ve skupinách a plnili různé praktické úkoly dle pracovního listu. Výstupem z exkurze byla samostatná prezentace žáků o výsledcích jejich pozorování. Kontrolní třídy byly vyučovány metodou výkladu a řízeného rozhovoru a... 6 Abstract Long-term outdoor education and programs can have positive impact on students' knowledge as well as their attitude and also behavior. On the other hand the effect of short-term programs is questionable. However, these programs are the most important in practice. There are only few studies dealing with the effectiveness of short-term programs on both short-term as well as long-term outcomes of students. Moreover, most of these studies were applied for primary school students. The aim of this thesis was to compare the short-term and the long-term effectiveness of outdoor education (field trip) with traditional education at the school. The comparison was made on the topic of ecosystems. I particularly wanted to examine the differences between (1) the results of experimental and control group in individual tests, (2) results of all students in subsequent tests as well as (3) in relation to other parameters of students. There were 102 students from three grammar schools participating on the experiment. On each school there always was one experimental class which was taught in the field, and one control class which was taught by the traditional way at the school.
