Bakalářská práce se zabývá ergoterapií u osob s mentálním postižením v sociálně terapeutické dílně. Práce obsahuje základní poznatky o problematice mentálního postižení, popisuje sociálně terapeutickou dílnu, charakterizuje ergoterapii jako jednu z možných terapií, která se uplatňuje při práci s osobami s postižením. Získávání nových dovedností v dílně přispívá k rozvoji a zachování schopností osob s mentálním postižením. To napomáhá ke zvýšení kvality jejich života. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je prezentovat konkrétní ergoterapeutický program vybraných klientů, který je zaměřený na rozvoj kognitivních funkcí a jemné motoriky. Na příkladu dvou klientů se středně těžkým mentálním postižením jsem ukázala, jak rozdílný může být přínos ergoterapie v jednotlivých případech. Pro jednoho klienta šlo o smysluplné trávení času a zlepšování jemné motoriky a u druhého spíše o osvojení technologického postupu výroby, který by mohl využít při možném budoucím pracovním uplatnění. V tomto konkrétním případě se mi potvrdila nutnost dlouhodobější péče pro klienty s mentálním postižením, aby si osvojili potřebné dovednosti. It is focused on mental disability, social therapeutic workshop characterization and above all it shows ergotherapy as one of possible ways of working with people with disability. New skill acquisition in the workshop contributes to the development and preservation of abilities of people with mental disabilities. That also helps to improve their quality of life. The main target of the bachelor thesis is to present a specific therapeutic program for selected clients focuses on development of cognitive functions and fine motor skills. At described cases of two clients with moderate mental disability it was shown how different can be the benefits of ergotherapy treatment. For one client the ergotherapy meant rather meaningful time spending and fine motor skills development and for the other more likely time to learn technological procedures which can be used in the future employment. This concrete case confirmed the necessity of long-term care for mentally disabled clients to have enough time to teach them necessary skills.
