1 Anotace Diplomová práce "Obraz ženy v tištěných médiích v meziválečném Československu", se zabývá výtvarným zobrazením ženy, které bylo nedílnou součástí prvorepublikového tisku. Práce se snaží poskytnout analýzu vybraných periodik (především časopisů pro ženy) z hlediska zobrazení žen v nich. Mapuje proměny společnosti a životního stylu v této epoše našich dějin, které doplňuje o kulturně- historické pozadí doby a seznámení s dobovými tištěnými médii. Práce se zaměřuje převážně na otázky ženské emancipace, které byly v dané době velmi aktuální a promítaly se i do všech oblastí umění. Emancipace významně ovlivňovala celou českou uměleckou tvorbu, o čemž můžeme najít doklady zejména v tištěných médiích, která mimo jiné zprostředkovávala odraz doby. Práce se s ohledem na svůj rozsah zaměřila jen na ty ve své době nejvýznamnější. Pro emancipační snahy byla důležitá především revue Eva, která je zde srovnávána s pánským magazínem Gentleman a s avantgardním časopisem ReD. Hlavní část práce se soustředí na samotné zobrazení ženy, a to jak v obecnější rovině, tak i v konkrétních případech. Zabývá se obrazem ženy ve vybraných rubrikách meziválečných ženských časopisů - móda, sport a automobilismus. Práce porovnává některá periodika mezi sebou a upozorňuje na autory některých fotografií či ilustrací. Součástí... 1 Abstract The thesis "The image of a woman in the press at interwar Czechoslovakia" deals with the visual presentation of a woman who was an integral part of the First Republic press. The thesis attempts to provide an analysis of selected periodicals (magazines especially for women) in terms of the depiction of women. The thesis surveys the changes in society and lifestyle in this epoch of our history which complements the cultural-historical background of the time and familiarity with contemporary press. The thesis focuses primarily on issues of women's emancipation, which were at that time very current and projected also into all areas of the art. Emancipation influenced significantly the whole Czech artistic creation. We can find some evidence especially in the press, which also mediated the reflection of period. The thesis focuses only on the most important press at these times with regard to its scope. Eva revue was especially important for emancipatory efforts and is compared here with men's magazine Gentleman and avant-garde magazine ReD. The main part of the thesis focuses on the actual image of women, generally and in specific cases.
