Petra Nosková Shrnutí Bakalářská práce "Problematika patologických hráčů se zaměřením na hráče pokeru" se zabývá problematikou patologických hráčů se zvláštním zřetelem k hráčům pokeru. Hraní hazardních her patří bezesporu k největším globálním problémům současného světa, přičemž se dotýká všech skupin obyvatelstva, každého věku, pohlaví nebo vzdělání. Patologické hráčství bývá v současnosti hodnoceno jako tzv. impulsivní a návyková porucha, která způsobuje u konkrétního člověka velmi silný návyk na předmět jeho závislosti. Pojem gamblerství se již dnes neomezuje jako dříve výlučně na automaty, ale patří sem i sportovní sázky, hra v kostky a hraní pokru, které se v posledních letech stále více rozmáhá. V mé bakalářské práci je popsáno gamblerství jako onemocnění, jeho průběh a možné léčení. Léčba patologického hráče je velmi dlouhým a nákladným procesem, proto je velice důležitá také prevence a medializace problému. Obecné pojednání o gamblerství je doplněno konkrétním příběhem patologického pokerového hráče Michala P. a jeho pohledem na hraní pokru, a s tím spojený způsob života. Petra Nosková Summary The bachelor's project called "The issue of pathological players focusing on the poker players" tells about the problematic of pathological gamblers while focusing on poker players. Gambling is surely one of the biggest worldwide problems in today's world, and that affects all demographics with no regards of sex, age or education. Pathological gambling today is regarded as an impulsive and addictive disorder which can provoke a very strong addiction in a particular human being to the object of its addiction. The term "gambling" today is not limited to just slot machines as before, but also to other things such as sports bets, dices or poker, the latter of which is increasing its popularity in these latest years. This paper describes pathological gambling as a disease, its development process and its possible healing. The healing of a pathological gambler is very long and it is a very costly process, thus it is very important to work on its prevention as well as to denounce it publicly in the media. This essay does not just speak in general about pathological gambling, but it also focuses on a particular story about a man who is a pathological gambler, called "Michal P.", who also talks about his view on playing poker and his lifestyle as a gambler.
