Vybrané determinanty zdraví populace a jejich vliv na úmrtnost v evropských státech Abstrakt Předkládaná diplomová práce se zaměřuje na vztah determinantů životního stylu mužů a žen ve vybraných evropských zemích v roce 2014 s jejich subjektivní (délka života ve zdraví) a objektivní úrovní úmrtnosti (naděje dožití) a s jejich intenzitou úmrtnosti na nejčastější příčiny. Těmi jsou ischemické choroby srdeční, cerebrovaskulární onemocnění a zhoubné nádory průdušek, průdušnice a plic. Vybranými determinanty zdraví byla fyzická aktivita, BMI, konzumace ovoce a zeleniny, kouření a konzumace alkoholu. Ukazatel délka života ve zdraví se nejčastěji vztahuje k přesnému věku 65 let, a proto se i tato práce zaměřuje na obyvatelstvo ve starším věku. Pro zkoumání vlivu vybraných determinantů zdraví na úrovně úmrtnosti byla použita vícenásobná lineární regrese. Mimo to práce zkoumá vývoj a úroveň délky života ve zdraví mužů a žen v přesném věku 65 let s v období 2004-2014 ohledem na naději dožití a řeší, zda došlo u evropské populace mezi prvních dekádou 21. století a rokem 2014 k nárůstu prožitých let života ve zdraví. Výchozím zdrojem dat jsou výběrová šetření EHIS a EU-SILC. Pomocí zvolených metod bylo zjištěno, že délka života ve zdraví spíše stagnovala, což se odráží v tom, jak bylo dále zjištěno, že ve vybraných... Selected determinants of population health and their impact on mortality in European countries Abstract The thesis focuses on the relationship of lifestyle determinants of men and women in selected European countries in 2014 with their subjective (healthy life years) and objective level of mortality (life expectancy) and their mortality rates to the most common causes. These are ischemic heart disease, cerebrovascular diseases and malignant neoplasm of the trachea, bronchus and lung. Selected determinants of health were physical activity, BMI, fruit and vegetable consumption, smoking and alcohol consumption. The indicator life expectancy in health is most often related to the exact age of 65 years, and therefore this work also focuses on the elderly population. Multiple linear regression was used to examine the effect of selected health determinants on mortality levels. In addition, the thesis explores the development and intensity of life expectancy in the health of men and women in the period 2004-2014. Finally, it addresses whether the European population between the first decade of the 21st century and 2014 saw an increase in healthy life years. The initial source of data is the EHIS and EU-SILC.
