Na poli forenzní antropologie i bioarcheologie dochází k neustálému hledání vhodnějších a spolehlivějších metod, které by umožnily odhad věku a sezonality v době úmrtí jedinců. Tato práce je věnována metodě cementochronologie. Je to metoda, která pracuje s kontinuálně rostoucí zubní tkání - cementovou vrstvou, jejíž pravidelné periodické přirůstání úzce koreluje s přibývajícím věkem. Diplomová práce se opírá o 2 soubory zubů jedinců známého věku a sezóny extrakce, které pocházejí z různých geograficky odlišných populací - české a malajské. Soubor české populace obsahuje celkem 21 zubů, soubor malajské populace obsahuje 11 zubů. Z těchto vzorků byly zhotoveny histologické preparáty a od každého jedince bylo analyzováno 5 řezů, u kterých byly počítány přírůstkové linie cementové vrstvy kořene a pro odhad sezonality charakter poslední přírůstkové linie. Námi dosažené výsledky odhadu věku se u obou souborů, české i malajské populace, blížily věku chronologickému daného jedince. U vzorků souboru české populace byl průměrný rozdíl mezi těmito věky 1,15 roku, přičemž častěji docházelo k nadhodnocování výsledků. U souboru vzorků malajské populace byl průměrný rozdíl (-1,68) roku a zde je pozorován trend podhodnocování výsledků. Také sezonalita odečtena na základě charakteru poslední přírůstkové linie... In the field of forensic anthropology and bioarchaeology, there is a constant search for more suitable and reliable methods that would allow the estimation of age and seasonality at the time of death of individuals. This work is devoted to the method of cementochronology. It is a method that works with continuously growing dental tissue - a cement layer, whose regular periodic growth is closely correlated with increasing age. The diploma thesis is based on 2 sets of teeth of individuals of known age and extraction season, which come from different geographically different populations - Czech and Malaysian. The group of the Czech population contains a total of 21 teeth, the group of the Malaysian population contains 11 teeth. Histological specimens were prepared from these samples and 5 sections were analyzed from each individual, in which the incremental lines of the root cement layer were counted and the nature of the last incremental line to estimate seasonality. The results of age estimation achieved by us in both groups, the Czech and Malaysian populations, were close to the chronological age of the individual.
