Diplomová práce "Volný čas (analýza současného stavu problematiky vyplnění a trávení volného času u mládeže v České republice)" se zaměřuje na vztah mládeže k volnému času a snaží se poukázat na důležitou roli volnočasových aktivit pro osobnostní rozvoj mládeže. V teoretické části se věnuji otázce, co to je volný čas a vymezuji termíny užívané pro mládež a výchovu ve volném čase. Rozebírám funkce a cíle volného času, význam smysluplně naplněného volného času, faktory ovlivňující výběr volnočasových aktivit a dávám příklady praxe z vyspělých zemí. Následuje část věnovaná vývoji politiky mládeže v České republice, roli státu v politice mládeže, legislativním úpravám a strategickým dokumentům k této problematice. V analytické části čerpám z empirických šetření posledních let a pomocí SPSS analyzuji data PISA 2003. Cílem je zodpovědět tři hlavní výzkumné otázky: Jak mládež tráví volný čas? Existuje ve volném čase selektivita mezi mládeží? Pokud ano, jaké jsou její příčiny? Je v České republice dostatek institucí poskytujících možnosti vyžití mládeže ve volném čase? Součástí práce je též analýza aktérů politiky mládeže v České republice a rozbor zařízení nabízejících možnosti vyžití ve volném čase. Na závěr uvádím implikaci pro veřejnou politiku, kde naleznete i "strom problémů" týkajících se tohoto tématu. Diploma thesis "Leisure time (current situation analysis of the content and spending the leisure time among youth in the Czech republic)" is focused on the approach of the youth to the leisure time and highlighting the importance of leisure time activities for successful personal growth. In the theoretical part, I define what the leisure time is and specify terms used for youth and education in the leisure time. I describe functions and purposes of the leisure time, the importance of the content of the leisure time, factors influencing the selection of leisure time activities and I mention some approaches used in other countries. Further I describe the development of the youth policy in the Czech republic, the role of the state in the youth policy, the legislative amendments and contextual strategic documents connected with the youth policy. In the analytic part I have used current empiric researches and analysed PISA 2003 data using SPSS. The aim is to answer three questions. How do the youth people spend their leisure time? Is there a selective approach? If yes, what are the reasons? Is there enough institutions providing leisure time activities in the Czech republic?
