The aim of this diploma thesis was to investigate the position of Christian education in preschool education in Spain and how it is practically applied in preschool facilities. Theoretical part deals with Spanish education system, education of religion in European context, educational legislation with an emphasis on religion and its connection with Spanish state, the specifics of teaching of religion and teacher qualification requirements. The practical part aimed to translate and analyse the content of the Curriculum for the religious area and catholic morality in preschool education. This analysis found out that teaching of religion is a unique way to naturally connect several different educational areas. The second part of the research consisted of case studies of four preschools, two catholic and two public. The characteristics of the visited schools, observations of lessons of religion and three teaching materials were analysed and compared. There were observable similarities and differences between visited catholic and public schools, for example in the way the school presented itself or in the ratio of the number of students attending Religion lessons to Ethics lessons. Cieľom tejto diplomovej práce bolo skúmať, akú pozíciu má kresťanská výchova v predškolskom vzdelávaní v Španielsku a ako sa uplatňuje v praxi predškolských zariadení. Teoretická časť približuje pohľad na španielsky vzdelávací systém, vzdelávanie náboženstva v európskom kontexte, vzdelávaciu legislatívu s dôrazom na náboženstvo a jeho prepojenie so štátom, špecifiká vo výučbe náboženstva a učiteľské kvalifikačné požiadavky. Praktická časť mala za cieľ preložiť a obsahovo zanalyzovať Kurikulum pre náboženskú oblasť a katolícku morálku v predškolskom vzdelávaní. Jeho analýzou bolo zistené, že vyučovanie náboženstva predstavuje jedinečný spôsob, ako prirodzene prepojiť niekoľko odlišných vzdelávacích oblastí. Druhá časť výskumu pozostávala z prípadových štúdií štyroch predškolských zariadení, a to dvoch katolíckych a dvoch verejných, v ktorých sú analyzované a porovnávané charakteristiky navštívených škôl, zápisy z hospitácií na vyučovacích hodinách katolíckeho náboženstva a tri používané učebné materiály. Medzi navštívenými katolíckymi a verejnými školami boli pozorovateľné podobnosti i rozdiely, napríklad v spôsobe prezentácie školy alebo v pomere počtu žiakov na hodinách Náboženstva k predmetu Hodnoty.
