Tato práce se věnuje výuce informatiky a programování na střední škole, konkrétně tomu, jak by její výuka z různých hledisek vyhovovala studentům, kteří se rozhodli v informatice pokračovat i na vysoké škole. Hlavním cílem tohoto výzkumu bylo zjistit, co studenty motivuje k pokračování na informaticky zaměřenou školu a z jakých se učili materiálů (ať už ve výuce nebo při samostudiu), které by doporučili ostatním studen- tům případně učitelům pro výuku. Kromě toho se však část výzkumu zabývala různými aspekty výuky programování (vhodný programovací jazyk, vývojové prostředí, jaký je a co dělá ideální učitel programování). Dále jsem zkoumala výuku informatiky: co by si z hodin měli odnést všichni studenti, jaké látce věnovat kolik času, případně jak studenty motivovat a udržet jejich informatické/programátorské nadšení. Výzkum probíhal ve dvou částech. První část byla kvantitativní a probíhala metodou dotazníkového šetření, kterého se účastnilo 297 respondentů (vysokoškolských studentů informatiky). Druhá část postavená na výsledcích první části měla charakter kvalitativní a byla provedena metodou focus group. Proběhly čtyři setkání focus groups, jichž se účastnilo celkem 17 respondentů z první části výzkumu. This work deals with the teaching of computer science and programming at high school, specifically how its teaching from various perspectives would suit students who have decided to continue in computer science at university. The main goal of this research was to find out what motivates students to continue to an IT-oriented school and which materials they used (either in school lessons or self-study) that they would recommend to other students or teachers for their lessons. In addition, part of the research dealt with various aspects of teaching programming (suitable programming language, development environment, who an ideal programming teacher is like and what they do). I also resear- ched the teaching of computer science: what all students should take from the lessons, what topic to devote time to and how much, or how to motivate students and maintain their computer science/programming enthusiasm. The research happened in two parts. The first part was quantitative and was done using the method of a questionnaire survey, which was attended by 297 respondents (university students of computer science).
