Kateřina Šumníková 2. ročník magisterského oboru Německá a středoevropská studia Název práce: Obraz pontifikátu Jana Pavla II. ve Spolkové republice Německo ABSTRAKT Pontifikát Jana Pavla II. měl nesporný význam nejen pro církev ve střední a východní Evropě, ale i pro společenskou změnu ve východní Evropě. Ve Spolkové republice Německo se tento papež stal osobností, která vzbuzovala nejen zdvořilý zájem, ale v průběhu času i stupňující se kontroverze. Předkládaná práce mapuje, jaké jsou přesné příčiny odstupu k jeho osobnosti ve Spolkové republice Německo a z jakých faktorů toto ne příliš adorující vnímání papeže vychází. Součástí práce je kvantitativní obsahová analýza, která poskytuje mediální obraz Jana Pavla II. ve vybraných periodicích v souvislosti s oznámením papežovy kanonizace (5. 7. 2013) a následným svatořečením (27. 4. 2014). In the Federal Republic of Germany, John Paul II has become a personality who aroused not only polite interest, but also an increasing controversy over the time. The diploma thesis conducts a survey of the exact causes of the distance to his personality as well as the factors of not adoring perception in the Federal Republic of Germany. Part of the work deals with the quantitative media analysis, which provides a media image of John Paul II. in selected periodicals in connection to the announcement of Pope's canonization (July 5, 2014) and subsequent canonization (April 27, 2014).
