Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl analyzovat koncept dětství a roli dětských postav v Racinových tragédiích. Ačkoliv se téma dětství v dramatu 17. století zdá být tabuizované, při podrobném zkoumání lze z textů vyčíst, že děti a rodinné vztahy hrály často jednu z hlavních rolí. Jakým způsobem jejich roli Racine zobrazil, či naopak skryl? Na tuto otázku nabídne práce odpovědi uvedené do kontextu literárněvědného a historického bádání. The bachelor's thesis aims to analyze the concept of childhood and the role of children's characters in Racine's tragedies. Although the theme of childhood in 17th century drama seems to be highly taboo a detailed examination of the texts suggests that children and family relationships played often a major role. How did Racine portray or hide their role? The work will offer answers to this question in the context of literary and historical research.
