Hlavním cílem této práce je posouzení udržitelného rozvoje cestovního ruchu na příkladu Tanvaldska. To v sobě zahrnuje dva dílčí cíle. První je analýza vývoje kapacit a návštěvnosti hromadných ubytovacích zařízení za posledních 15 let. K tomu jsou využita data z Českého statistického úřadu. Bylo zjištěno, že zde docházelo spíše k poklesu kapacit ubytovacích kapacit. Návštěvnost se vyvíjela více dynamicky, přesto zde byl celkově také patrný pokles, vyjma let 2017 až 2019, které byly počtem turistů nejúspěšnější. Druhá část se zabývá evidencí uskutečněných projektů na podporu cestovního ruchu a jejich posouzením z hlediska udržitelnosti na základě stanovených kritérií. Většina informací pochází z webu tanvaldsko.info. Projekty se především zabývají propagací Tanvaldska nebo rozvojem cykloturismu. Celkově jsou nepochybně do určité míry přínosné, nicméně absence jejich zpětného hodnocení a posuzování dopadů turismu na 3 pilíře udržitelného rozvoje cestovního ruchu může zde, ale i v jiných destinacích dlouhodobou udržitelnost ohrozit. Klíčová slova: cestovní ruch, udržitelný rozvoj cestovního ruchu, Tanvaldsko The main goal of this work is to assess the sustainable development of tourism on the example of Tanvaldsko. This includes two sub-objectives. The first is an analysis of the development of capacities and attendance of collective accommodation establishments over the last 15 years. Data from the Czech Statistical Office are used for this. It was found that there was a decrease in accommodation capacity. Attendance developed more dynamically, yet overall there was also a noticeable decline, except for the years 2017 to 2019, which were the most successful in terms of number of tourists. The second part deals with the records of implemented projects to support tourism and their assessment in terms of sustainability based on established criteria. Most of the information comes from tanvaldsko.info. These projects are mainly focused on the promotion of the Tanvald region or the development of cycling tourism. Overall, they are undoubtedly beneficial to some extent, however, the absence of their retrospective evaluation and assessment of the impact of tourism on the 3 pillars of sustainable tourism development can endanger long term sustainability here and in other destinations as well.
