Tato práce je zaměřena na strategie výuky anglického jazyka dětí mladšího školního věku a dětí mladšího školního věku se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami. Bude rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a empirickou. Hlavním cílem této práce je rozšířit autorovy obzory v rámci dostupných strategií a metod, vylepšit výuku a získat lepší přehled o možnostech individualizace výuky. Autor také chce představit výzkumnou metodu sebe-studie a motivovat čtenáře této práce k jejímu využití na vylepšení jazykových hodin. Zároveň má práce poukázat na vhodnost či nevhodnost určitých strategií a metod při výuce žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami. První kapitola osvětlí, co je myšleno dětmi mladšího školního věku a dětmi mladšího školního věku se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami, a zmíní určitá specifika jejich výuky. Jelikož jsou specifika výuky těchto dětí velmi obsáhlá, zmíní jen ta, která se později objeví v empirické části práce. Druhá kapitola podá krátký úvod do vývoje výuky anglického jazyka a představí obecné strategie výuky, výukové metody a strategie výuky a učení používané při výuce anglického jazyka. Třetí kapitolou začíná empirická část práce. Ta představí výzkumnou metodu sebe- studie, způsob jakým autorka sbírala data, a to, jak její hodiny vypadaly. Ve čtvrté kapitole se podíváme na... This thesis is aimed at English language education of primary school students and primary school students with special needs. It is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and consists of two chapters. The main goal of the work is to expand author's horizons in terms of available teaching methods, to improve their teaching and gain better understanding of the possible ways to individualize teaching. The thesis also aims to introduce a variant of a case-study, the self-study as means of improvement for teachers and motivate them to try it. We also try to point out the advantages and disadvantages of some methods when teaching special needs students. The first chapter will explain, what we mean by primary school students and primary school students with special needs. It will also mention certain specific factors of their education. As the teaching of special needs students is an incredibly complex field, the only mentioned learning difficulties and handicaps will be those later mentioned in the practical part of the thesis. The second chapter will introduce commonly used teaching methods, give a short explanation of the history of English language teaching and introduce methods and strategies of teaching and learning commonly associated with English language teaching.
