Pandemie COVID-19 přinesla řadu negativních důsledků nejen pro fyzické, ale i duševní zdraví, a zvýšila tak potřebu hledat cesty, jak psychickou odolnost a duševní zdraví jedinců v takto bezprecedentní situaci podpořit. Tato diplomová práce proto zkoumá salutogenetický model zdraví A. Antonovského se zaměřením na koncepty sense of coherence (SOC) a sense of national coherence (SONC) jakožto možné prediktory duševního zdraví v době koronavirové pandemie. Literárně-přehledová část se věnuje tématu duševního zdraví, vývoji jeho pojetí a jeho prediktorům, s důrazem na koncepty SOC a SONC. Závěr této části je věnován přehledu dosavadního výzkumu o duševním zdraví v době pandemie COVID-19. Ve výzkumné části byla kvantitativními metodami analyzována data získaná dotazníkovým šetřením v rámci mezinárodního výzkumného projektu zabývajícího se prediktory duševního zdraví v době pandemie COVID-19. Sběr dat proběhl v české populaci v období prosince 2020 až ledna 2021 s využitím nástrojů Mental Health Continuum, SOC-13 a dotazníku SONC. Studie se zúčastnilo 476 respondentů. Vícečetná regresní analýza potvrdila signifikanci konceptu SOC jakožto prediktoru duševního zdraví v době pandemie u české populace. SONC jako prediktor nebyl dostatečně statisticky signifikantní. Given the negative consequences the COVID-19 pandemic has brought to both the physical and mental health, there is a growing need to find the ways how to support and strengthen psychological resilience and mental health of the individuals in such an unprecedent situation. Consequently, this thesis explores the A. Antonovsky's salutogenetic model of health with a focus on the concepts of sense of coherence (SOC) and sense of national coherence (SONC) as potential predictors of mental health during COVID-19 pandemic. In the theoretical part, the topic of mental health, it's coneptualisation and predictors are presented, with an emphasis on the concepts of SOC and SONC. Additionally, the review of present research on mental health during COVID-19 pandemic is included. The research project analyses the data obtained through an online survey as a part of an international research study investigating the predictive factors of mental health during COVID-19 pandemic. Data collection in Czech sample was conducted in December 2020 and January 2021, using the Mental Health Continuum, SOC-13 and SONC scales. The sample included 476 participants.
