Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje dominikánskému konventu a farnosti v severočeském městě Jablonné v Podještědí, s důrazem na období od bitvy na Bílé hoře až do zrušení konventu Josefem II. v 80. letech 18. století. Na základě dochovaných pramenů mapuje dějiny konventu a přibližuje vybrané aspekty zdejší církevní správy a náboženského života. Důraz je kladen především na působení dominikánů ve farní správě a jejich vztahy se zdejší farností a představiteli vrchnosti. Práce se zabývá i zbožností a náboženským životem obyvatel Jablonného. Do této problematiky se snaží nahlédnout skrze snahy farníků o založení bratrstva sv. Josefa. Based on the archival historical sources, the thesis attempts to depict the history of the convent and describe the chosen aspects of the church administration, religious life and piety. The work centres around the activity of the Dominicans in the parish administration and around their relations to the parish and the manorial lords of Jablonné. Furthermore, the piety and the religious life of parishioners are outlined and also the efforts to found the brotherhood of St. Joseph are studied.
