Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou syndromu CAN. Teoretická část se věnuje vymezení pojmu, popisu forem CAN, rizikovým faktorům a následkům nevhodného zacházení s dětmi. Pozornost je věnována rovněž prevenci, a to především prevenci primární, dále detekci a diagnostice. Cílem empirické části je zmapovat míru informovanosti odborné a neodborné veřejnosti v ČR. Zjišťováno bylo porozumění pojmu CAN a jeho formám, znalost následků a institucí, na které se lze v případě podezření obrátit. Prostor byl věnován rovněž vlastním zkušenostem s CAN a preferovaným způsobům osvěty. Na základě tématické analýzy odpovědí pediatrů, pedagogů ze základních škol a široké veřejnosti jsou navrženy vhodné způsoby, jak informovanost, tj. primární prevenci, navýšit. Theoretical part is focused on the definition of the term, description of forms of CAN, risk factors and consequences of child maltreatment. Attention is also paid to prevention, especially primary prevention, detection and diagnosis. The aim of the empirical part is to map the level of awareness among the qualified and general public in the Czech Republic. Understanding of the concept of CAN and its forms, knowledge of the consequences and the institutions to which one can turn in case of suspicion were inquired. A part was also devoted to individual experiences with CAN and preferred ways of awareness raising. Based on thematic analysis of responses from paediatricians, primary school teachers and the general public, appropriate ways to increase awareness, i.e. primary prevention, are suggested.
