Bakalárska práca detailne opisuje návrh EDFA optického zosilňovača pozostávajúci z výberu vhodných komponentov, ich zapojenia a programového riešenia. Súčasťou práce je teoretický rozbor problematiky optických vlákien, ktorý opisuje druhy optických vlákien, limitujúce javy vplývajúce na prenos signálu v optických vláknach, vlnové multiplexovanie a optické zosilňovače. Realizácia zapojenia bola postavená na platforme Red Pitaya, ktorá ovláda riadenie laserovej pumpy MOT350{\_}35100GC. Program ovládajúci EDFA zosilňovač bol vytvorený vo vývojovom prostredí LabView. Experimentálne bolo overené vhodné zapojenie čerpacieho zdroja a výber dĺžky erbiového vlákna pre dosiahnutie čo najvyššieho zisku zosilnenia. Súčasťou bakalárskej práce je laboratórna úloha, zoznamujúca riešiteľa s problematikou optických zosilňovačov s meraním zosilnenia pre rôzne konfigurácie čerpacieho zdroja, erbiového vlákna a výkonu pumpy. The bachelor thesis is describing in detail a scheme of an EDFA optical amplifier consisting of appropriate components, insertion of the device and software deployment. The whole thesis is divided into several categories. First theoretical analysis of optical-fiber cables that describes the types of optical-fiber cables, limiting phenomena affecting signal transmission in optical fibers, wave multiplexing and optical amplifiers. The implementation of the connection was built on the Red Pitaya platform, which controls the control of the MOT350_35100GC laser pump. The software controlling the EDFA amplifier was created in the LabView development environment. The appropriate connection of the pump source and the choice of the length of the erbium fiber to achieve the highest possible gain of reinforcement was verified experimentally. Part of the bachelor's thesis is a laboratory task, acquainting the solver with the problem of optical amplifiers with measurement of gain for various configurations of pump source, erbium fiber and pump power.
