Diplomová práce s názvem Předpoklady pro obnovení řeckokatolické církve v Československu ve druhé polovině 20. století se zabývá osudy této církve v období komunistického režimu. Hlavní část práce se věnuje rozmezí let 1950-1968, tedy etapě od jejího zrušení až po její částečné obnovení. V tomto období jsou hledány faktory a klíčové události, které k obnově přispěly. Důležité momenty v životě řeckokatolické církve jsou vykládány v dobovém politicko-náboženském kontextu. V závěru práce je nastíněn život a činnost obnovené, avšak okleštěné, řeckokatolické církve v období normalizace. The diploma thesis entitled Prerequisites for the Restoration of the Greek Catholic Church in Czechoslovakia in the second half of the 20th century deals with the fate of this church in the period of communist regime. The main part of the work is devoted to the years 1950-1968, the stage from its abolition to its partial restoration. In this period, factors and key events that contributed to the restoration are sought. Important moments in the history of the Greek Catholic church are interpreted in the historical political-religious context. The conclusion outlined the life and activities of the restored, but limited, Greek Catholic Church in the period of normalization.
