Práce se zabývá problematikou bezdomovectví. Mapuje základní příčiny, vlivem kterých se lidé ocitají v situaci, kdy ztratí domov, svou rodinu. Popisuje aspekty, které ztěžují život osobám bez domova, a jaké mechanizmy využívají k jejich zvládnutí. V teoretické části práce je zpracována problematika bezdomovectví z pohledu historie, příčin a prevence. Uvádí přehled pomáhajících organizací a možných alternativ řešení. Mapuje podíl Městské policie v Plzni, konkrétně Stanice územně strážní služby, která byla přímo zřízena k monitoringu a kontrole sociálně vyloučených osob na území města. Praktická část se věnuje pohledům osob bez domova na jejich současnou situaci, na jejich vize budoucnosti a na konkrétní možnosti řešení svízelných situací. Převážně kvalitativně zaměřené výzkumné šetření s kvantitativními prvky bylo realizováno na základě řízených rozhovorů doplněných o zúčastněné a nezúčastněné pozorování, spojené s pobytem v terénu. The work deals with the issue of homelessness. It maps the root causes which affects people who find themselves in a situation where they lose their home, their family. It describes aspects that make life difficult for homeless people and what mechanisms they use to deal with them. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the issue of homelessness in historical view, causes and prevention. Brings an overview of organizations that helps and possible alternative ways to help. It maps the share of the Municipal Police in Pilsen, specifically the Territorial Guard Service Station, which was directly established to monitor and control socially excluded persons in the city. The practical part deals with the views of homeless people on their current situations, their visions of the future and concrete options of dealing with difficult situations. Research that mostly focuse on quality with quantitative elements was realized on the basis of guided interviews and non- participatory observation, connected with the stay in the terrain.
