Tato práce se zaměřuje na zpracování seriálu Ďábel v Praze, který vznikl roku 1996 v produkci České televize. Cílem je zmapovat, do jaké míry je seriál syntézou pověstí a faktů, a hledá odpověď na otázku, odkud brali tvůrci náměty a inspiraci. Zároveň se pokusím dohledat dobové kritiky a přijetí diváků. Seriál je rozdělen do jednotlivých příběhů - pražských legend, a stejně tak jsou rozděleny i kapitoly v této práci. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na dějovou linku odehrávající se v jezuitské koleji, jejíž prostředí pak prostupuje celým dějem seriálu. Každá kapitola popisuje děj daného příběhu, následně jeho genezi. Práce je vypracována na základě odborné literatury a návštěv filmového archívu České televize The bachelor's thesis focuses on elaboration of Devil in Prague series, made in 1996 in production of Czech Television. The aim is to study extent of synthesis of legends and facts in series, the source of information's and inspiration to writers. At the same time, I will try to find a contemporary critical review and some reception of spectators. Series are divided into individual stories - legends of Prague, so as chapters in this work, whereas second chapter focuses on story about Jesuit college, that goes through all other stories. Every chapter describe the legend and then its genesis. The thesis is based on specialised literature and visits of movie archive of Czech Television.
