Práce si klade za cíl prozkoumat vliv státní moci na nakladatelské subjekty v Československu v letech 1948 až 1968. Nejprve studuje, jak politické změny po roce 1948 ovlivnily nakladatelství všeobecně. Sleduje vývoj cenzury a její působení na knižní produkci až do roku 1968. Poté se práce zaměřuje na oblast dětské literatury a Státní nakladatelství dětské knihy (SNDK). Zkoumá, jak státní moc ovlivnila dětskou knihy v daném období. The thesis`s goal is to analyze state power impact on publishers in Czechoslovakia in years 1948-1968. First the thesis describes, how political changes in 1948 affected Czech publishers in general. Then thesis follows the development of censorship and its influence on book production until 1968. Special attention will be paid to the history and production of State Children`s Publishing House/Státní nakladatelství dětské knihy (SNDK). It analyzes, how state power influenced children books in the period.
