Tato diplomová práce je věnována problematice dospělých osob a seniorů s mentálním postižením žijících v zařízeních sociálních služeb. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována těm, kteří žili doma s rodiči a do zařízení nastoupili až v dospělém věku, často až po smrti rodičů. Pro získání důležitých informací bylo zvoleno kvalitativní šetření, aby bylo možno jít do hloubky zvolené problematiky. Výsledky šetření vychází z analýz rozhovorů s uživateli sociálních služeb a s pracovníky, kteří s osobami s mentálním postižením pracují. Cílem práce bylo popsat problematičnost chování později příchozích klientů a na základě toho navrhnout konkrétní doporučení, která by osobám s mentálním postižením usnadnila tento přechod. Special care is dedicated to those who relocated into the institutions in their adult life, often after their parents' death. Qualitative research was chosen to provide the obtained information with proper depth. The results of this research come from the analysis of interviews provided by users of social services and professionals working with people with mental disability. The aim of this thesis is to describe behavioural problems associated with users who came into the institutions later in their life, and offer them specific recommendations that would make their transition easier.
