Tato diplomová práce se zabývá výstavbou a životem na pražském sídlišti Ďáblice v sedmdesátých a osmdesátých letech 20. století a jeho reflexi v dobových československých médiích, konkrétně ve dvou denících Rudé právo a Lidová demokracie,časopise Mladý svět a relevantníchpořadechČeskoslovenské televize. Sídliště Ďáblice bylorealizovánov letech1968 až 1983 a dodnes je v československém kontextu považováno za ojedinělé zejména svým urbanistickým řešením. Cílem práce bylo předložit mediální obraz sídliště v období tzv. normalizace tradičně vymezené invazí vojsk Varšavské smlouvy v roce 1968 a sametovou revolucí roku 1989. V teoretické části nejprve nastiňuji historickýkontext a zásadní politické a společenské události a jevy. Dále přináším charakteristiku dobové mediální scény s podrobnějším popisem zkoumaných médií. Věnuji se rovněž československé bytové politice po druhé světové válce s důrazem na masivní výstavbupanelovýchsídlišť.Samostatná kapitola představuje sídliště Ďáblice. V praktické části práce přibližuji užitou metodologii včetně výzkumných otázek. Následně přecházím k samotné analýze mediálních textů a audiovizuálníchpořadů za užití historicko-srovnávacímetody a také rozhovorů s pamětníky za užití metodyorální historie. This master's thesis concerns the construction and the life in the Ďáblice housing estate in Prague during the seventies and the eighties of the twentiethcentury and presents its reflection in contemporary Czechoslovakian media, namely in Rudé právo and Lidová demokracie dailies, Mladý svět magazine and relevant programs of Czechoslovakian Television. The Ďáblice housing estate was built between 1968 and 1983. To this day, it is considered to be unique for its urban composition in the Czechoslovakian context. The aim of the thesis was to present the media image of this housing estate in the normalization era between the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968 and the Velvet Revolution in 1989. First, the theoretical part of the thesis describes the historical context and significant political and social events and phenomena. It also brings characterization of the contemporary media landscape with more detailed description of the researched media sources. It also focuses on Czechoslovakianhousingpolicy after the Second WorldWar with greater emphasis onmassive panel housing development. Separate chapter introduces the Ďáblice housing estate itself.
