Moderní doba s sebou nese mimo jiné velkou urbanizaci, což znamená rozvoj a zvět- šování měst. Městská prostředí jsou svou strukturou velmi odlišná od venkova, potažmo od přirozené krajiny. Diference se projevují v mnoha oblastech klimatických pozorování, mimo jiné způsobily jev zvaný městský tepelný ostrov, z hlediska teploty se jeví město jako ostrov s vyšší teplotou oproti okolní krajině. K analýze UHI, speciálně SUHI jsou využity družice společnosti Eumetsat nazývané MFG a MSG s nástroji MVIRI a SEVIRI, jejich měření je zpracováno dle využití rozličnými algoritmy. 1 Modern times bring considerable urbanization which represents the development and extension of cities. An urban environment is very different in structure from the rural one and the natural landscape. The differences are shown in various types of climatic observations and they also lead to a phenomenon called Urban Heat Island. The city appears as an island with higher temperature compared to the surrounding rural areas. Eumetsat satellites called MFG and MSG with the MVIRI and SEVIRI instruments are used for the analysis of SUHI, the measurement of which is processed by the application of various algorithms. 1
