V únorovém šetření dotazovalo CVVM SOÚ AV ČR sadu otázek týkajících se možností participace občanů na politickém dění a jejich porozumění politice v obecné rovině. 77 % dotázaných je přesvědčeno, že se politické strany starají více o hlasy voličů než o jejich názory a pouze pětina (20 %) respondentů souhlasí s tvrzením, že zvolené politiky zajímá, co si občané myslí. Přibližně dvě třetiny (68 %) dotázaných dle svého mínění rozumí politice a politickému dění jako ostatní lidé, přičemž muži zastávají tento názor častěji než ženy. In February 2020 Public Opinion Research Centre asked a set of questions concerning the opportunities of citizens to participate in political issues and their understanding of politics in general.
