cze Abstract:
[cze][eng] Próza Victora Huga Poslední den odsouzence (Le Dernier Jour d´un Condamné, 1829) představuje jeden z nejvýznamnějších literárních manifestů svého druhu proti trestu smrti. Příspěvek především sleduje strategii textu, který povětšinou sugestivními literárními prostředky (vnitřní monology, tematika světla a tmy, svobody a vězení, fyziologie prostoru) exponuje individuální příběh anonymního odsouzence na smrt tak, aby se čtenář mohl snáze identifikoval s jeho psychickým a fyzickým utrpením.The Last Day of a Condemned Man (Le Dernier Jour d´un Condamné, 1829), the polemical novel in prose of Victor Hugo, is one of the most important literary manifests against the death penalty. The article attemps to define his textual strategy and especially the literary means (interiors monologues, space physiology, themes of the light and the darkness) exposing an individual story, sufferings and reflections of a convict before his execution.
