Abstract: Basic concept of Hybrid Photo Detectors (HPD) or Hybrid photo Multiplier (HPMT) combines vacuum sealed photocathode and Si-PIN diode as anode and is known more than 50 yers. Considerable improvement of these detectors in connected with a development of more efficient Si-PIN diodes.
