Diplomová práce se zabývá cestovním ruchem Chorvatska, charakterizuje jeho současný stav v mezinárodním kontextu a historických souvislostech. Práce pojednává o předpokladech Chorvatska pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu, struktuře chorvatského cestovního ruchu, jeho specifikách a vlivu na národní hospodářství i vzájemném cestovním ruchu Chorvatska a České republiky. Součástí práce je také SWOT analýza Chorvatska jako turistické destinace. This thesis deals with travel and tourism in Croatia, describes its current position on the international market with regard to the historical context. A big part of the thesis is also focused on tourist attractions Croatia has to offer both cultural, natural and social as well as hospitality facilities. It also discusses the impact of travel and tourism on croatian economy and mutual relations and tourism between Croatia and the Czech Republic. Finally SWOT analysis of Croatia as a tourist destination is presented.
