Diplomová práce se zabývá veřejnou diplomacií Francie, Velké Británie a Německa v České republice. Na základě teoretické části jsou formulovány dva modely veřejné diplomacie. Hlavním kritériem pro dělení modelů jsou cíle, kterých se praxe veřejné diplomacie snaží dosáhnout. První je model zlepšení obrazu v zahraničí, v rámci kterého se praxe veřejné diplomacie snaží představit svůj stát zahraniční veřejnosti. Během užívání druhého modelu prosazení zájmů se státy pomocí veřejné diplomacie snaží aktivně prosazovat své hodnoty a postoje u zahraniční veřejnosti. Po přestavení organizací veřejné diplomacie vybraných států a historického vývoje jejich činnosti v České republice byla provedena analýza na základě dat sesbíraných ze sociálních sítí, webových stránek a rozhovorů s představiteli organizací veřejné diplomacie. Praxe britské, francouzské a německé veřejné diplomacie byly na základě rozboru cílů uvedených v rámcových dokumentech, cílů jednotlivých organizací veřejné diplomacie, škály spolupracujících partnerů, témat, kterými se zabývají a nástrojů, které k jejich prosazování využívají, přiřazeny do jednotlivých modelů. Na základě analýzy nebylo možné ani jednu z praxí veřejné diplomacie vybraných států působících v České republice jednoznačně přiřadit do modelu prosazování zájmů. This diploma thesis deals with public diplomacy of France, Great Britain, and Germany in the Czech Republic. Based on the theoretical parts, two models of public diplomacy are formulated. The main criteria for the division of the models are the goals of public diplomacy. The first one is a model of promoting a positive image of a state abroad that is used for improving the image of the state in front of the foreign public. In the case of the second model, states can use the interests of public diplomacy to actively promote the values and views of the state that uses public diplomacy. After the presentation of public diplomacy organisations of the selected states and the historical development of their activities in the Czech Republic, an analysis was performed based on data collected from social networks, websites, and interviews with several representatives of public diplomacy. The practices of British, French, and German public diplomacy were categorized based on the goals mentioned within the official documents, the goals of individual public diplomacy institutions, partners, topics, and the tools they use to work the topics. Based on the analysis, none of the public diplomacy of the selected countries operating in the Czech Republic can be assigned a model of promoting values.
