Abstract: This paper presents our ongoing work focused on segmentation of thermal images from the process of traverse wedge rolling. The goal of this work is to evaluate some of the available methods. We mainly focused on a demonstration of simple methods without using machine learning methods. Part of the work is to present the dataset we create for testing.
