Předmětem zájmu je kulturní konflikt básníka s cenzurou, který byl typický pro 19. století. Sbírka Sodoma J. Karáska ze Lvovic byla zakázána v r. 1895 pro "skandální" zobrazení tělesnosti a homoerotické lásky a byla vydána po přepracování v r. 1905, po interpelaci poslance Josefa Hybeše. Příspěvek sleduje několikeré přepracování "závadných" básní a význam cenzurního zákroku - lze říci, konečný pozitivní efekt, při cizelování básníkovy poetiky. The paper reviews the literary censorship and the collection "Sodoma" by J. Karásek ze Lvovic, which was prohibited in 1895 and published after reworking in 1905, following the interpellation of the member of parliament Josef Hybeš. The paper follows the stages of the poet´s reworking and argues that the literary censorship may have had the positive effect on the poet´s work.
