Tato práce je komparací politické komunikace dvou politických stran hlásící se k křesťanské demokracie. Komparovanými stranami je česká KDU ČSL a rakouská ÖVP. Politická komunikace je v tomto výzkumu zkoumána na sociální síti Facebook, přičemž zkoumaným obdobím je doba 6 měsíců před konáním voleb do dolních komor parlamentů České republiky a Rakouska v roce 2017. Práce přináší definici hodnot ideologie křesťanské demokracie a zkoumá intenzitu jejich promítání ve volebních programech u politických a následně v samotné politické komunikaci na jejich facebookových stránkách. teoretické části shrnuje teoretická východiska vědního oboru politické komunikace. Následně se zabývá ideologií křesťanské demokracie, kde vymezuje její char kterých tato ideologie staví. V praktické části již probíhá výzkum promítnutí definovaných hodnot ideologie křesťanské demokracie do volebních programů obou stran a do podoby jejich politické komunikace na Facebooku. V závěru práce probíhá komparace zjištěných poznatků. Pro výzkum byla použita kombinace kvalitativního a kvantitativního výzkumu. Práce tak přináší nejen poznatky z oblasti politické komunikace specifického politického směru, ale i komparaci obsahů sdělení v politické komunikaci obou stran. This work is a comparison of the political communication of two political parties, which belong to the ideology of Christian democracy - Czech KDU-ČSL and the Austrian ÖVP. This work provides an analysis of the political communication taking place on the social network Facebook in the 6 months period before the elections to the lower chambers of parliaments of the Czech Republic and Austria in 2017. This work provides a definition of the values of the ideology of Christian democracy and examines the intensity of projection of these values in election programs of both parties and subsequently in the aspects of their political communication. The theoretical part of this work summarizes the theoretical background of the political communication as a scientific field. It also follows up the ideology of Christian democracy and defines its characteristics and core values. In the next section, I there is a research of the intensity of the projection of defined values into the election programs of both parties and into the form of their political communication on Facebook. The final part of this work provides a comparison of the findings of the political communication of both parties. A combination of qualitative and quantitative methods was used for the research.
