Hlavním předmětem této bakalářské práce je zprostředkování životního příběhu ženy židovského původu Evy Mändlové, provdané Roubíčkové. Její druhá, stěžejní část mapuje životní cestu této Židovky od raného dětství, přes její deportaci do terezínského ghetta až po dlouho očekávaný návrat domů. V širším kontextu se práce snaží přiblížit současnému čtenáři realitu života Židů, která byla válečnými událostmi hluboce poznamenána, a to nejen za pomoci dostupných historických záznamů, ale i autentických výpovědí přeživších osob. První část práce pak sleduje historický vývoj židovské komunity na Žatecku a vydává se po stopách židovského obyvatelstva v tomto regionu od prvních zmínek o něm až po současnost. Klíčová slova Eva Roubíčková; Terezínské ghetto; Židé na Žatecku; Židé; Žatec; holocaust; 20. století The primary subject of this bachelor thesis is to mediate the life story of Eva Mändlová, Roubíčková. Its second, central part surveys this Jewish woman's life path from her early childhood, through her deportation to the Terezin ghetto to the long-awaited return home. In a broader context the work strives to give the present audience an understanding of the everyday life of Jews, which was deeply affected by the events of World War II. For that purpose it uses not only the available historical records, but also authentic testimonies of Holocaust survivors. Its itroductory part follows the footsteps of the Jewish population in Žatec region from its first mention until the present time.
