Csl. hapax legomenon tr6putica z legendy o sv. Benediktovi, jejímž autorem byl Řehoř Veliký, je ve Slovníku jazyka staroslověnského přeloženo jako „třínožka“. Jde o chybný překlad, jak uvedla E. Bláhová (Slavia 61, 404). Domnívá se, že význam csl. slova je shodný s 2. významem jeho řeckého ekvivalentu ~tripédiklon~, což je Marrubium/jablečník. Slovanské názvy, které jsou pokračováním csl. trьputica, však označují jinou rostlinu – Plantago/jitrocel, která má podobné vlastnosti jako Marrubium, je však na slovanském území mnohem známější. The OCS hapax legomenon tr6putica from a legend about Saint Benedict, whose author was Gregory the Great, is translated in Slovník jazyka staroslověnského as „tripod“. It was pointed out by E. Bláhová (Slavia 61, 404) that this is actually a wrong translation; she mentions that according to the second meaning of the Greek word it was plant Marrubium/horehound. However, the equivalents of OCS trьputica point rather to another plant – Plantago/plantain – which has similar healing charakteristics and which was (and has remained until today) a commoner healing plant for Slavs.
