Diskusní příspěvek se věnuje obtížné slučitelnosti historických a umělecko-historických periodizací a na příkladech středověkých staveb ze Slezska naznačuje obtíže hledání jednotných chronologických mezníků, které představují jen úzký výsek z komplikovanějších historických struktur stavebního umění. The contribution discusses the difficult problem of combining the historical and art historical periodizations. Furthermore, it implies that finding unified chronological landmarks, which represent only minority of more complex historic structures of architecture, can prove difficult as shown by medieval edifices from Silesia.
