Autor v příspěvku popisuje, jakým způsobem klade dotazy ve svých pořadech Václav Moravec. Při analýze jsou kombinovány kvalitativní a kvantitativní přístupy. Analýza jednoho úryvku a několika rozhovorů s Václavem Havlem ukázala, že Václav Moravec představuje agresivní typ moderátora, který klade takové dotazy, jež mu umožňují udržet odpovědi hostů, a tím i celý průběh rozhovoru, pod kontrolou. The paper deals with the questioning done by one particular popular Czech host of political debates in his TV show and also in radio broadcasting interviews. I suggest that the best way to analytically capture the host’s questions is to combine qualitative and quantitative approaches. By analysing one excerpt and a few interviews with the former president of the Czech Republic, Václav Havel, I show that the host asks his guests rather hostile questions and in this way controls the flow of the interviews or debates.
