Teoretická část je zaměřena na hledání dosud vytvořených kritérií kvality složek výuky, do kterých patří student, učitel, výukové formy a metody, a čerpá z monografií i empirických výzkumů. V empirické části byly získány pomocí kvalitativně zaměřené výzkumné sondy představy studentů o podobě kvality jednotlivých složek výuky.
