Tato bakalářská práce má za cíl zjistit, jak vysokoškolští studenti využívají svůj mobilní telefon a zda existuje spojitost používaní mobilního telefonu s určitými situacemi v jejich životě. Výzkumné otázky cílí na samotné využívání mobilního telefonu a také na to, jak se v problematice nadměrného používání mobilního telefonu studenti vyznají. Celý výzkum byl prováděn kvalitativní metodou jako kvaziexperiment. Byly použity dvě oddělené metody získávání dat. První metodou bylo zasílání dat od respondentů pomocí mobilní aplikace a operačního systému. Druhou metodou byl polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Výzkumný soubor tvoří 8 vysokoškolských studentů z toho 4 ženy a 4 muži mezi 18 a 26 lety. Výsledky potvrzují, že jsou vysokoškolští studenti silně ovlivněni svým mobilním telefonem a vykazují k němu návykové chování. Ze zaslaných dat je také patrné, že ženy ke svému mobilnímu telefonu cítí větší potřebu než muži a celkově ho častěji využívají. Také se prokázalo, že využívání mobilního telefonu slouží jako prostředek pro prokrastinaci v průběhu cestování, přednášek ve škole a samostudiu. Z výzkumu vyplývá, že je žádoucí zařadit více informací o nadměrném využívání mobilního telefonu v preventivních programech na základních a středních školách. The goal of this bachelor thesis is to explore what are the habits of mobile phone usage by university students and for what purpose they use their mobile phone. Research questions focus simply on the means of usage along with students knowledge on mobile phone excessive addictive behaviour. Research was conducted in qualitative means using quasi experiment as a main method that included two parts. First, there was a group of 4 men and 4 women, in age of 18 - 26, that had their "on screen time" measured for one week. Second, each participant was individually confronted during an semi structured interview, where there was main focus on analysing their reaction. Results confirmed, that university students are strongly affected by the mobile phone influence and they show addictive behaviour. Women are experiencing a stronger need than men and are using their phones more often. A link to procrastination during learning or school lessons was found as well. Study has shown that there is a need for broader education on excessive phone usage as a part of precautionary programs on elementary and high schools.
