Cirkadiánní rytmy jsou přítomné u všech organismů od prokaryot přes rostliny až po živočichy. Jsou značně plastické, schopné se adaptovat na okolní klimatické podmínky a na aktuální dostupnost potravy, takové rozdíly v podmínkách vedly i ke vzniku vnitrodruhových polymorfismů cirkadiánních rytmů. Tato práce shrnuje známá data o plasticitě cirkadiánních rytmů, mechanismech, kterými jsou cirkadiánní rytmy řízené, a jejich vzájemnou závislost. Cirkadiánní rytmy byly u ektoparazita člověka štěnice domácí (Cimex lectularius) studovány pouze sporadicky, obrácení rytmu je možné docílit pouhou změnou osvitu. Se znalostmi o plasticitě cirkadiánních rytmů bude možné přesně zjistit, jaké změny v mechanismech řízení cirkadiánních rytmů se u štěnice dějí. Klíčová slova: cirkadiánní rytmy, štěnice domácí, plasticita cirkadiánních rytmů, polymorfismus cirkadiánních rytmů Circadian rhythms can be found in all organisms from prokaryotes through plants to animals. They are very plastic, able to adapt to the climatic conditions of the environment and the current availability of food, such differences in conditions led to origin of intraspecific polymorphisms of circadian rhythms. This bachelor thesis summarizes the known data on the circadian rhythm plasticity, managing mechanisms of circadian rhythms and their interdependence. Circadian rhythms were studied only sporadically in the human ectoparasite a bed bug (Cimex lectularius), rhythm reversal can be achieved just by changing the illumination. With knowledge about plasticity of circadian rhythms it shall be possible to identify the changes in the managing mechanisms of circadian rhythms in the bed bug.
