Pylové analýzy s vysokým rozlišením s podporou přesného radiometrického datování rašelinného profilu poskytly data o vývoji lesní vegetace pískovcového skalního území v posledních zhruba 300 letech. Tato data jsme srovnávali s historickými lesnickými záznami a s antrakologickými daty získanými z novověkých milířů v okolí. Podařilo se identifikovat jednotlivé etapy antropogenní degradace původních lesních porostů, která vedla ke vzniku kulturních lesů. High-resolution pollen analyses combined with precise radiometric dating of peat profile led to description of local forest vegetation development over last about 300 years. These data were then correlated with historical forestry documentation and anthracological data obtained from relicts of charcoal kilns. Individual stages of anthropogenic degradation of natural forest communities were identified this way.
